As part of a historic musical instrument restoration project, Abby had the opportunity to perform with her Deerfield High School Orchestra playing a restored violin previously used by victims and survivors of the Holocaust.
Over two decades, 70-plus violins have been carefully restored by the Violins of Hope project as a way of keeping history alive. Each instrument holds a uniquely inspirational story of hope, resilience and resistance.
